Residents of Peer Colony Kralpora have urged advisor to Governor Kewal Kumar Sharma, who holds Power Development Department (PDD) portfolio, to direct for restoration of power supply in the area at the earliest.
According to residents, the PDD sub- station Chanapora was informed about the faulty transformer in Peer Colony, Kralpora a month back after which a transformer was installed but that too was with mechanical error and was lifted back.
“Now for weeks together we are without electricity as faulty transformers are being installed in the colony where PDD has enhanced the rates per kilo watt. Despite new rates, we are without electricity in cold conditions amidst snow and rains,” said members of delegation.
