Every moment of my life devoted to nation: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday promised to devote “every moment” of his time and “every fibre” of his being for the people of India and said the country will now have only two castes — the poor and those who want to alleviate poverty.

In a rousing speech at the party headquarters here tocelebrate the BJP’s spectacular victory, Modi told cheering supporters that theelection has thrown up a mandate to build a new India.

   

“People are chanting Modi, Modi. But this is not avictory of Modi, it is the victory of people who are desperate for honesty inthe system,” Modi said.

This is the victory of toiling farmers who struggle to feedthe nation, this is the victory of those who now live in proper houses, this isthe victory of the middle class which follows the rules, pays taxes, butwondered if his taxes were being used for the benefit of the country, he said.

Earlier, Modi said India has won again and together witheveryone, a strong and inclusive nation will be built.

“With all+ development for all+ everybody’s confidence= victorious India,” he tweeted.

“Together we grow. Together we prosper. Together wewill build a strong and inclusive India. India wins yet again,” he said.

In more tweets, he thanked the people for reposing faith inthe National Democratic Alliance.”Thank you India! The faith placed in ouralliance is humbling and gives us strength to work even harder to fulfilpeople’s aspirations,” he tweeted.
