Global coronavirus caseload tops 90.8 million

The overall global coronavirus caseload has topped 90.8 million, while the deaths have surged to more than 1.94 million, according to the Johns Hopkins University.

In its latest update on Tuesday morning, the University’s Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) revealed that the current global caseload and death toll stood at 90,872,905 and 1,943,943,.

   

According to CSSE, the US is the worst-hit country with the world’s highest number of cases and deaths at 22,612,384 and 376,051. India comes in second place in terms of cases at 10,466,595, while the country’s death toll soared to 1,51,160.
