Advisor to the Governor, K Vijay Kumar on Friday visited District Hospital Budgam and took stock of the health care facilities being provided to the patients there.
SP Budgam, Amod Asok Nagpure, ACR Budgam, Zaffer Shawl, CMOBudgam, Dr Nazeer, MS District Hospital, Dr. Deeba and other senior doctors andofficers from administration were present on the occasion.
During the visit the Advisor inspected various wards,including Neonatology unit, operation theatre, Gynae ward, RBSK and USG unitsand interacted with staff as well as patients to take firsthand appraisal oftheir grievances and issues related to the healthcare.
Later, the Advisor also visited the proposed sites ofDistrict Hospital at Reshipora and Indoor Stadium Budgam.
He reviewed progress on the ongoing projects and furtherrequirements to ensure better and hassle-free health services to the patients.Various public delegations also called upon theAdvisor and raised issues regarding healthcare. The Advisor assured that alltheir genuine grievances will be looked into and addressed at an appropriatelevel.
