Rathar concerned over battered roads in Charar-e-Sharief

Senior NC leader and former finance minister, Abdul Rahim Rather on Friday said the internal roads in Charar-e-Sharief Assembly Constituency are in a dilapidated condition and hence not traffic worthy at all.

“The public in the area is suffering badly on this account.The locals living in the area have been left to fend for themselves,” Rathersaid, according to a NC statement.

   

Rather has urged the governor’s administration to take upthe reconstruction of these roads on priority basis so that the sufferings ofthe people are alleviated at the earliest. “The roads in the areas are inbattered condition. The students and the patients are at the receiving end ofit. The administration has shut its eyes and ears to the mounting woes of thelocals,” he said.

He further demanded that construction of Azad Road Rangerwith extension upto Sogam; Panzan to Darbagh Dedmaribagh to Dangerpora Ranger;Panzan to Ganjibagh with extension to Bachroo; Tujan to Tilsara and otherimportant link roads of the area be taken up under PMGSY scheme.
