The three-day 2nd Baramulla district shooting championship concluded on Monday at the Delhi Public School (DPS) Baramulla.
The event was organised by the Baramulla district rifleassociation in collaboration with DPS Baramulla from July 13 to 15 withparticipation of around 60 students of the school.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) north Kashmir range SulaimanChoudhary was the chief guest at the occasion.
In his address to the gathering, DIG north Kashmir laidemphasis on promotion of such events at school as well as state-level and saidthe students should excel at national and international level in this sportscategory. “Those who excelled in today’s event by bagging different positionsshould excel at state and national level in coming times,” he said.
