WhatsApp expands voice, video calling to desktop PCs

WhatsApp on Thursday said it has rolled out one-to-one voice and video calls on its desktop app, a move that will now allow users to make calls through their laptops or desktop PCs.

The Facebook-owned company said voice and video calls on the platform are end-to-end encrypted, and so WhatsApp can’t hear or see them whether the call is made from phones or computers. PTI
