Pak PM discusses security situation with army chief, key ministers

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan Wednesday chaired a high-level meeting during which he discussed security situation with army chief and key ministers.

“Security matters were discussed during themeeting,” according to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Officehere.

   

Officials said that latest security on both eastern and western borders as well as internal security matters were discussed. The meeting was attended by Finance Minister Asad Umar, Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood, MoS for Interior Shehryar Khan Afridi, Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) chief Lt Gen. Asim Munir, Foreign Secretary Tehmina janjua and other senior officials. PTI
