A man was murdered in Shopian district on Monday following a dispute between two orchardist families over sharing of irrigation waters.
A police official identified the slain as Adfar Ahmad Parra,a resident of Humhuna, Zainpora. “One of the members of the accused familyattacked the victim with a sharp-edged weapon,” the official added.
Police have arrested the accused.
