PDP’s Agha Mohsin files nomination for Srinagar Lok Sabha seat

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Agha Mohsin on Tuesday filed his nomination papers for Srinagar-Budgam constituency which is going to polls on April 18.

Senior PDP members accompanied Mohsin to the office of thedeputy commissioner (DC) Srinagar where he filed his nomination papers.

   

“Thank you @MehboobaMufti & @jkpdp for putting yourtrust in me and giving me an opportunity to serve the people of the state.InshaAllah, we will come as winners,” Mohsin had tweeted before filing hisnomination papers.

On Monday, NC president Dr Farooq Abdullah also filednomination papers for Srinagar-Budgam constituency.

Congress and National Conference are in a pre-poll alliancefor the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. While Congress would not field anycandidate from the Valley, it will be a “friendly” contest between NC andCongress in Jammu.
