Bullets can never suppress unarmed freedom fighters: Pakistan army on Pulwama killings

Pakistan army on Monday condemned the civilian killings in south Kashmir’s Pulwama, saying “bullets can never suppress unarmed brave freedom fighters” while asking their Indian counterparts to “respect ethics of professional soldiering.”

In a tweet, Director-General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor said the “unethical” targeting of civilians by government forces in Kashmir is “highly condemnable.”

   

On Sunday, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan had also condemned the Pulwama civilian killings and said that Pakistan will raise the issue of “Indian human rights violations at every platform.”
