Indonesia will celebrate Eid Al Fitr on Friday, June 15 as the moon sighting has been confirmed in Jakarta.
The Shawwal moon has also been sighted in Jebel Hafeet and Al Ain in the UAE, according to International Astronomical Centre, the Abu Dhabi Media Network has reported.
However, the UAE’s moon sighting committee will officially make the announcement later this evening.
