Clashes erupted in Lal Chowk of Anantnag in south Kashmir on Wednesday after the government forces launched a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) in the area.
Reports said that youth took to streets and clashed with the forces after the latter launched a CASO in the area.
They said that shopkeepers lowered their shutters following the clashes.
