A sub-inspector (SI) and an assistant sub-inspector (ASI) were killed in a road accident early Thursday when their car fell into a gorge here.
According to the reports, they were returning from theirhometown Poonch for their duties in Kashmir, when their car bearing theregistration number JK02CG-0752 fell into a gorge at Simbal Choya Reasi.
They were identified as 57-year-old SI Abdul Aziz son ofHabibullah and 40-year-old ASI Mohammad Mushtaq Bhat, son of Abdul Subhan Bhat,are resident of Baila tehsil Mandi district Poonch.
According to DSP Reasi, Wasim Hamdani, police personnelafter recovering the bodies shifted them to district hospital Reasi, whereafter the post-mortem they were handed over to their relatives.
