2 top administrative positions in Rajouri vacant since August

Two important administrative posts in Rajouri have been lying vacant since August when one of them holding it retired from service and the other was transferred out, burdening two topmost district authorities with additional work. 

The two vacant posts include those of additional district development commissioner and regional director, survey and land records Pir Panjal region.

   

Avtar Singh Chib held the position of additional district development commissioner when he retired from service in August, and SH Kazmi, the regional director, survey and land records Pir Panjal region was transferred out.

Deputy commissioner Rajouri, Mohammad Aijaz Assad confirmed both the posts of ADDC Rajouri and collector survey and land records were lying vacant.

Additional district development commissioner looks after the developmental scenario in the entire district under the overall supervision of the deputy commissioner, who is now holding the charge for the vacant post as well. 

In addition of his own responsibilities, Assad has also been looking after the work of additional district development commissioner.

Additional deputy commissioner Rajouri, Sher Singh is looking after survey and land records which includes the ongoing tedious work of digitising land records, besides his own responsibilities. 

Delay in filling up the two important administrative posts in Rajouri has overburdened the two top district officials and the chief planning officer of the mountainous district.
