Admin imposes restrictions on sale of combat dresses in Rajouri
District administration Rajouri has imposed a strict ban on the sale of combat dresses by unregistered traders.
The order issued by District Magistrate has also issued a set of strict directions for traders registered for the sale.
"Traders who are registered for selling combat dresses need to produce their registration certificates before local police station within seven days. They have also been directed to maintain a record of combat dresses and clothes they purchase, store and sell and this record need to be produced before local police station after every two weeks," said the order.
These traders have also been directed to sale combat dresses only to bona fide members or forces.
The order was issued after a letter from police wherein it has been stated that open sale of army combat dresses can pose a threat to safety of civilians.
