Police-public meet held at Manjakote

As part of police community public group meeting (PCPG), Rajouri police today conducted a meeting at police station Manjakote which was attended by prominent citizens, sarpanches and panches, traders and locals of the area.

As part of police community public group meeting (PCPG), Rajouri police today conducted a meeting at police station Manjakote which was attended by prominent citizens, sarpanches and panches, traders and locals of the area.

As per statement, other senior police officers present in the meeting were Additional SP Rajouri Tejinder Singh, SDPO Manjakote  Zakir Shaheen and SHO Manjakote Younis Ahmed.

During the meeting, the participants mainly highlighted the issues with regard to transport, blacktopping of roads, and establishment of new police post at Saroola, whereas they also requested for holding a recruitment rally in the rural and far flung border areas so as to make it an inclusive placement. 

SSP Rajouri, Rajeshwar Singh, while addressing the meeting assured the locals that he would discuss all these issues with the concerned officials and do the needful.

He asked people to shoulder their responsibility by cooperating with the police and focussing on preventive measures rather than waiting for things to snowball into bigger issues.
