People from Mughal Bardari living in different areas of Rajouri district, especially in Gambhir Mughlan village of Manjakote, today held a 'Mughal-Itehaad' rally here at new bus stand.
Hundreds of people of the Baradari took part in the rally. Vice Chairman of State Pahari Advisory Board, Kuleep Raj Gupta was the chief guest at the rally held under the chairmanship of Sheraz Ahmed Azri.
Addressing the gathering, leaders of the Bardari alleged that they are being ignored on all the fronts and deprived of their basic rights.
"We cannot tolerate further discrimination and will fight on democratically for our rights" they added.
The speakers also castigated yesterday's police action in Manjakote, terming 'use of force against peacefully protesting people as high handedness of police'.
