The chowk remains busy as the passenger buses for most of the routes are available here and it is the need of the hour to construct a passenger shed for the convenience of passengers, locals said
"Passenger vehicles of Khandli, Kotedhara, Peeri, Budhal, Kandi, Rehan, Mandir Gala, Sakri, Palma, Dhangri, Kalakote, Sialsui, Argi, Jamola, Bindi, and other local routes are available to people from Panja chowk due to which this point remains heavily rushed " they said.
They said that even after such a crowd, authorities have not even bothered to construct a passenger shed thereby making common masses suffer.
"Passengers suffer a great deal due to humid conditions of summer and rains," Manoj Kumar, a local said, adding that the concerned authorities never bothered to construct a shed here for the convenience of passengers despite repeated requests.
He added that a passenger shed with capacity of sixty to seventy persons is a burning need of the hour which should be constructed on the spot for the benefit of the public.
