Uneasy calm has been prevailing at Line of Control (LoC) in twin border districts of Rajouri and Poonch in Pir Panchal region with no new firing being reported since Saturday morning.

Sources told Greater Kashmir that no fresh firing has taken place on Line of Control during the past 48-hours.

" Last shelling took place on Saturday morning at 3 AM in Panjgrian village of Manjakote in Tarkundi sector and after that no fresh shelling has taken place," sources said. 

They said that despite no fresh firing taking place people are staying  indoors as they fear that firing and shelling could resume anytime." So far no migration has taken place " they added. 

It is pertinent here to mention that tension on Line of Control in Rajouri and Poonch is prevailing since Indian army carried took reported  surgical strikes across the Line of Control (LoC).
