In a sorry state of affairs in district hospital Rajouri, twenty employees including seven doctors were found absent during a surprise inspection yesterday morning. Among the absentees several have been reported not attending their duties for days together while some had even marked advance attendance. 

As per reports, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Shabir Ahmed Bhat recently convened a meeting of hospital staff asking them to work with punctuality.

Today in order to check the implementation of his directions a team headed by Deputy Commissioner Shabir Ahmed Bhat and AdDC Mumtaz Ali paid a surprise visit to the district hospital Rajouri at 10:40 AM. The officials of the team were surprised after checking the daily attendance register. 

It was found that a total of 20 employees were absent which included seven doctors. The absentee doctors include Dr Nafees ur Rehman, Dr Archana, Dr. S Amir Abaas whose attendance of 28th was marked in advance, Dr. Saima Maryam, Dr. Akhter Mirza, Dr. Nahid Akhter, Dr. Yasmeen Kouser.

Besides, thirteen paramedics found absent are: JSN Shashi Bala, JSN Naseem Akhter, JSN Monika Dutta, Junior Pharmacist Mushtaq Khan,  Senior Lab Technician Ajaz Malik, Lab Technician Zaffer Iqbal, FMPHW Marveed Akhter, FMPHW Najma Akhter, FMPHW Rubina Begum, Yasmeen Koser FMPHW, FMPHW Fozia Farzana, Seema Sharma FNO and Vinod Kumar NO.

Deputy Commissioner has ordered for stopping their salaries and has issued charge sheets to them.
