A total of 8523 candidates, including 252 females applied for 285 posts of constables in police in Rajouri district, the Physical Endurance Test of which was started today.
As per reports, under Transparent Recruitment Process for recruitment of police constables, Physical Endurance Test started today in District Police Lines Rajouri and the test will last for next three days.
A total of 285 vacancies of constables are there in Rajouri district which include 234 IRP vacancies, 19 armed police and 32 Executive Police constable level vacancies.
Details further add that for these 285 vacancies, 252 females among 8523 candidates are in fray which will try to give their level best to qualify in Physical Endurance Test.
Meanwhile addressing a press conference on the first day of Physical Endurance Test of Constable level recruitment in Rajouri district, being held in District Police Lines Rajouri, DIG Nisar Ahmed, who is heading Rajouri district recruitment board, said that recruitment is going on in a free and transparent manner with everything going on infront of all and in a modernised digitalised form.
"No candidate should fall prey to those who try to lure people for providing job in return of money" DIG said saying that there is no scope of favouritism.
