Senior Bhartiya Janta Party(BJP) leader and Member Legislative Council (MLC), Adv Vibodh Gupta today alleged that the Education Department is root cause of 'favouritism in recruitment for nomadic schools in Rajouri district.
There is a deep rooted mafia running in education department in Rajouri district which is the root cause of favouritism in recruitment process in nomadic schools" a press release quoting MLC stated.
As per the press release, theMLC was addressing a series of deputations of nomadic people which met him in Rajouri.
The deputation members comprising Gujjar, Bakerwals and Paharis, raised the issue of recruitment process in Nomadic schools and alleged favouritism in it.
The members alleged that some influential families dominate the process and their candidates are selected time and again. They demanded end of this practice and sought seasonal recruitment in nomadic schools be carried out on fair and transparent manner.
The MLC also said that state as well as central governments are working in a 'multi-dimensional' manner for overall development and welfare of nomadic populations including Gujjar, Bakerwals and Paharis.
