The ongoing indefinite bandh in Nowshera entered into its third consecutive day on Sunday, with normal life being badly affected by the strike.
According to reports, all business establishments of the area remained closed and the market wore a deserted look.
The locals took out a protest rally from main market and raised anti-government slogans, alleging that the government is ignoring the demands of the inhabitants of Nowshera. They said that the government has kept on announcing new administrative units purely on the basis of its own political benefits, while genuine areas remain deprived.
The locals said that the bandh will continue till their demand for an ADC post in Nowshera is met.
