Even after 36 days, residents of Pir Panchal region are waiting for the restoration of mobile internet which was snapped on August 4.
Talking to Greater Kashmir, youth from twin districts said, "Snapping of internet services has left us in lurch," said Sunnet K Sharma of Rajouri.
Rishav Sasan, a school student from Rajouri, also castigated state government for its failure to have a concrete policy to deal with situations and said that just to prevent rumour mongering, which is done by a few, government in punishing thousands of people. " More than 70% areas of Rajouri and Poonch are devoid of Broadband connectivity, " said, Zaid Ahmed, a student.
Meanwhile a senior administrative officer of Rajouri while talking to Greater Kashmir said that mobile internet have been snapped on the orders of top officials and they have got nothing to do with it.
