Srinagar, Dec 16: An Army man was on Thursday mysteriously shot dead along the Line of Control (LoC) in Balakote area of Poonch district in a suspected case of fratricide, news agency KNO reported while quoting sources.
As per the report, Subedar Jungveer Singh was posted on a forward post on LoC near Balakote police post when he received the bullet and died.
Police have taken up investigation into the incident with an official saying that it is being suspected to be a case of fratricide.
