BSF trooper critically injured in mine blast in J&K’s Poonch

Srinagar, Dec 20: A BSF trooper was seriously injured in a mine blast along Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu on Monday, official sources said.

Quoting the sources, news agency GNS reported that constable Ajish K of 146 Battalion BSF, deployed at Dogra Tekri, area of Balakot sector in Poonch district sustained multiple mine blast injuries on his face and both hands while he was on duty at the fence.

   

The injured trooper was removed to Udhampur through helicopter as per the sources.

A police officer told GNS that that condition of the trooper remains serious.
