Rajouri Nov 5: Security forces on Saturday launched a Cordon and Search Operation in a few villages of Thanamandi area of J&K’s Rajouri district.
An official told Greater Kashmir that the CASO was launched in the villages following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
While searches in the area are going on to nab the suspected militants, the main road between Thanamandi sub-division and Rajouri district headquarter that also connects with Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah shrine of Shahdra Sharif has been sealed in a bid to prevent the militants escape from the cordon.
