Forces take out long patrol in Mendhar

A long patrol was taken out by forces on Monday in Mendhar town of Poonch district, police said.

They said that officers from army, police and civil administration participated in the patrol that was taken out to instil a sense of security among people who were panicked for no reason.

   

The patrol passed through main market Mendhar and culminated at Sangla Chowk.

Sub-divisional magistrate Mendhar, Sahil Jandyal, sub-divisional police officer, Neeraj Padyar, station house officer, Anayat Ahmed and officers from army and other central paramilitary forces participated in the patrol.
