Kashmiri apple merchant among three injured in Rajouri accident

An apple merchant of Kashmir among three others sustained injuries when an apple loaded truck fell in a gorge in Lamberi village of Nowshera on Jammu Rajouri highway on Saturday morning.

An apple merchant of Kashmir among three others sustained injuries when an apple loaded truck fell in a gorge in Lamberi village of Nowshera on Jammu Rajouri highway on Saturday morning.

As per reports, a truck (JK01S 6726) loaded with apples was on way from Pulwama to Delhi when on Saturday morning it fell into gorge near Siot River of Rajouri resulting injuries to three persons.

Police identified the injured as driver of truck, Javid Ahmed son of Jalalludin  of Tral, Pulwama; helper of vehicle, Muhammad Rafiq son of Abdul Rehman of Patnitop, Ramban and an apple merchant, Bashir Ahmed son of  Abdul Aziz of Noorbagh, Kamarbari, Srinagar.

All three injured were evacuated to the local hospital.
