Poonch, May 30: A 25-year-old youth died on Monday evening after slipping into a river in Mandi area of Poonch, official sources said on Tuesday.
They said that Tariq Ahmad, a resident of Chambar in Mandi tehsil, was returning home from Mandi after closing his shop when he slipped during heavy rains in the area.
When he did not reach home, locals and family members started a search and his body was found near the river in Chambar, they said.
