A man was killed while his wife sustained critical injuries when a vehicle they were travelling in collided with a bus on Friday near Katra.
A police officer said, “At about 8 am, a Scorpio, JK20 6575, collided with a bus, JK02BL 3247, at Didi Morh, near Aghar Ditto temple Katra. As a result, the driver of the Scorpio was killed on the spot, while his wife sustained grievous injuries.”
The deceased has been identified as 52-year-old Mehraj-ud-din, son of Mohammad Yousaf and a resident of Sajroo, Mahore. His wife, Shameen Akhter, was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu for advanced treatment.
