A 31-year-old man shot himself dead with a 12-bore rifle in Jamola village of Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said today.
The deceased has been identified as Kuldeep Kumar.
A police official said the incident took place on Thursday night after Kumar Shot himself with his 12-bore rifle.
The body was shifted to district hospital Rajouri today morning for post mortem, he said, adding that the police is investigating the incident.
