A large number of students staged a demonstration at Reasi on Wednesday, in order to lodge their protest against the non-availability of public transport.
Students of various schools and colleges participated in the protest at Reasi Bus Stand Reasi and blocked the road. They said, “While going and returning from schools and college, we suffer a lot due to the non-availability of adequate public transport.”
After getting information about the protest, SHO Reasi reached the spot and assured the protesting students that their issue will be resolved at an earliest. On this assurance, the protesting students called off their protest.
