Srinagar Dec 23: Police in J&K's Poonch on Thursday detained a man from south Kashmir's Shopian for "objectionable" social media post.
As per a police spokesman, the accused Shakoor Ahmed Bhat, son of Mohammad Yousaf Bhat resident of Keegam Shopian district in south Kashmir "shared sensitive social media post and indulged in unlawful act.
Later, he was detained by a joint Naka of Police and Army at Poshana, police said.
Legal proceedings have been initiated against the accused, it added.
