For the fourth consecutive day Wednesday, normal life remained paralyzed in twin border districts of Rajouri and Poonch with severe cold wave prevailing in wake of fresh snowfall in the higher ranges.
Reports said plains of Rajouri and Poonch received a light shower last evening while weather remained cloudy since this morning.
"Higher ranges of Rajouri and Poonch received a fresh spell of snowfall," they said.
However severe cold wave prevails in the twin districts which has hit normal life and people are preferring to stay indoors.
Reports said Rajouri-Kotranka-Budhal road has been made operational for traffic after snow clearance work but DKG road connecting Thanamandi with Surankote is still closed. In Poonch district, the Mughal road is closed from Chandimar.
