Suspected IED destroyed in J&K's Poonch

A search operation was launched in the area by the army later.

Rajouri Oct 21: Security forces on Thursday afternoon destroyed a suspected Improvised Explosive Device in the upper reaches of Surankote in J&K's Poonch district.

An official said the explosive device was found by an army patrol team in Mahra village area of Surankote after which the area was cordoned off.


It was later destroyed by the army even as a search operation was launched in the area, the official added.
