Two brothers among three more detained for ‘sheltering’ militants in J&K’s Poonch

Srinagar, Oct 28: Amid the anti-militancy operation in the forests of Poonch entering its 18th day, security forces on Thursday detained three more locals for allegedly sheltering the militants, reports said.

With the detention of the three persons including two brothers hailing from Bhatta Durrian area of Mendhar tehsil, a total of 20 locals, including some women, have been detained during the operation.

   

Nine soldiers, including two JCOs, have been killed in this operation while two policemen and a soldier have sustained injuries.
