Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs and Tribal Affairs Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali inaugurated the Addional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) office at Koterankatoday.
Vice Chairman State Advisory Board for Development of Gujjar-Bakerwal Gulzar Khatana, Controller LMD R K Katoch, Director FCS and CA R A Inqlabi, Director Tribal Affairs Mohammed Rafi, Secretary State Advisor Board for Development of Gujjar-Bakerwal Mukhtar Ahmed, Additional DDC Rajouri A S Chib, Additional DC Koteranka Shafiq Ahmed, SSP Yougal Manhas and Additional SP Mohammed Yousuf were also present on the occasion.
After inaugurating the ADC office, Zulfkar attended a public grievance redressal camp at Koteranka and said that the government is very keen to establish enhanced administrative control and supervision for monitoring the developmental works, for their timely completion and quality maintenance.
More than 2000 people attended the camp and hailed the state government for creating the post of Additional Deputy Commissioner for Koteranka. They also expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and Minsiter for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs & Tribal Affairs for completing their long-pending demand.
At the camp, the people also demanded the establishment of a degree college, interlinking of main roads, blacktopping of main and link roads, new administrative units at Peeri, provision of drinking water, hassle free power
Zulfkar impressed upon the ADC Koteranka Shafiq Ahmed to work with zeal and enthusiasm for the betterment of people.
Earlier, the Minister inspected various developmental works such as channel fencing, construction of view points, tourist huts, guest house, fountains, amphitheater, beautification of park, development of botanical garden and cactus garden in Eco-Park at Patti Qila.
