Access to quality education, healthcare imperative for development: Sajad Lone

Srinagar, Mar 26: Peoples Conference (PC) President Sajad Gani Lone today said that true development can only be achieved when every citizen has access to quality education, healthcare, employment opportunities and a secure future.

According to a press release, he was addressing party functions here. Scores of socio-political activists from diverse political backgrounds, hailing from Budgam and Kupwara districts joined the PC.

   

With a warm welcome extended to all new entrants, Lone expressed his appreciation for the party’s steady expansion and its increasing acceptability and support in previously underrepresented areas. “The party leadership is dedicated to promoting inclusivity and narrowing disparities, ensuring that every district and community has a voice in shaping the region’s future and receives a fair share for development,” Lone said.

He further reiterated the Peoples Conference’s unwavering dedication to prioritising the welfare of the people and driving comprehensive socio-economic progress.

“We pledge to work tirelessly to create an environment that nurtures growth, empowers communities, and uplifts the lives of all our people,” the PC President said.

The prominent individuals who joined from Soibugh, Budgam, included Mohammad Akbar Wani, Abdul Gani Paul, Mohammad Rajab Dar and Fayaz Ahmad Mir.

Another group of new entrants from Sholipora, Budgam, were also welcomed into the party cadres. Led by Parvaiz Ahmad Bhat the members included Farooq Ahmad Dar, Mohammad Younus Bhat, Mohammad Tawseef, Mohammad Arif Dar (Tehsil Head), Danish Rasool, Abdul Ahad Dar, Abdul Hameed Ganai, Mohd Sultan Bhat and Mouizin Amin.

From Wagoora Kreeri Constituency, Farooq Ahmad Chopan, Mushtaq Ahmad Chopan, Mohd Yousuf Chopan, Waseem Yousuf Chopan, Suhail Ahmad Najar, Mohammad Jameel Chopan and Danish Ahmad Chopan joined the party.
