Srinagar, Apr 19: BJP has not fielded any candidate in Anantnag-Rajouri parliamentary constituency.
Today was the last day of filing the nomination papers. Twenty five candidates filed their nominations till 3 PM on Friday. In this constituency, the documents will be scrutinized on April 20, the names can be withdrawn till April 22. The candidates will be provided with election marks on April 23. The polling will be held on May 7. No candidate has come forward from BJP till the last date of filling the form.
PDP President Mehbboba Mufti, NC leader Mian Altaf and Apni Party leader Zaffar Iqbal Manhas are among the candidates contesting.
