Azad, Sajad Lone, Tarigami condemn killing of vendor in Bijbehara

Srinagar, Apr 17: Ghulam Nabi Azad, Sajad Gani Lone and Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami have strongly condemned the killing of a vendors by terrorists at Bijbehara.

Chairman Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) Ghulam Nabi Azad posted on X, “Strongly condemn the tragic Bijbehara attack in which a non local named Raja Shah, of Bihar lost his life in this senseless act of violence. Wishing a speedy recovery to the injured. This must end, people want peace but militants don’t want peace. We must stand together against this act.”

President People’s Conference Sajad Gani Lone in a statement has strongly denounced the tragic killing of a Bihar resident in Bijbehara, South Kashmir. Expressing profound sorrow over the incident, he condemned the senseless violence that claimed the life of Raja Shah, a non-local vendor residing in Jablipora Bilal colony. He emphasised that such acts of brutality have no place in a civilized society and urged for unity and solidarity in the face of such challenges.

“Violence has no place in a civilized society. The reprehensible attack on a non-local is a stark reminder of the need for peace to prevail. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. We stand united against such acts of terror,” he said.

CPI (M) leader posted on X, “Condemning in no uncertain terms the killing of Raju Shah, a resident of Bihar, in a terror attack in Bijbehara. Such unfortunate incidents bring no benefit to anyone. The government must ensure the safety and security of civilians.”
