We find same tariff for elites who are well settled financially and same tariff for BPL and AAY consumers whose monthly income is even less than Rs 2,000. There is no rebate and consideration of poverty for downtrodden households of the society. On the other hand power supply continues to be interrupted while as the water level has largely risen in rivers and power generating resources,” Wani said.
