Srinagar, Apr 27: PDP’s candidate for Srinagar Lok Sabha constituency, Waheed-ur-Rehman Parra, today said that his party is committed towards youth empowerment and employment generation.
According to a press note, he was addressing a workers’ meeting at Alochi Bagh here. Parra stated that Srinagar holds significant importance for PDP, given its political, cultural, and strategic significance. He again asserted that party’s main agenda will focus on initiatives such as skill development programmes, entrepreneurship support, and educational reforms.
He added that Srinagar is having rich cultural heritage, including its unique Kashmiri language, cuisine, and handicrafts. “PDP will forcefully advocate for policies to preserve and promote Kashmiri culture, ensuring that it thrives amidst modernisation and globalization,” Parra said.
