Vote in record number for BJP: Dr Jitendra Singh to people

Ramban, Mar 24: Union Minister and BJP’s candidate for Udhampur –Doda Lok Sabha constituency Dr Jitender Singh today appealed the people to vote in record number for his party in the elections to have the most popular leader Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister for the third time and to have fast progress of the nation.

Dr Singh was addressing a massive election rally in Ramban . On his arrival at Chanderkote, he was given a rousing reception and taken to the rally venue in Ramban in a big procession of vehicles.

While addressing a public rally here to seek support for BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections he gave a brief account of various social welfare schemes implemented by the NDA regime and major development works carried out in the Ramban district recently. He especially referred to the extension of railway service up to Sangaldan via Khari and Sumbar, and the construction of various road tunnels, bridges and flyovers in the Ramban district.

Dr Singh said that Ramban, town earlier known for protracted traffic jams and frequent landslides, has got a highway facelift, two new vital bridges, a crucial bypass flyover, multiple tunnels, three colleges, railway line up to Sangaldan and much more in the last 10 years. “This has been possible because under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, there has been equitable distribution of resources and hitherto rejected areas have received their due without consideration of vote bank, caste or creed,” the union minister said.

Dr Jitendra Singh said that the Maitra Bridge had been a long-standing demand of the people of Ramban but it was not taken up for consideration by the erstwhile National Conference and Congress governments. It was taken up only under the Modi Government and is now dedicated to the public.

The BJP leader said the work on the National Highway beyond Ramban towards Srinagar is also proceeding on the fast track with a series of tunnels on the way which would cut down the journey time.

The travel time from Jammu to Srinagar will be reduced to just around four hours, he said. Dr Singh blamed the previous state and central governments for family rules and communal divide.

Rauling out any challenge from the possible alliance of political parties like DPAP, Peoples Conference, and Apni Party he said that even the family members and their leaders would vote for BJP.
