Srinagar, Mar 14: Peoples Conference chairman Sajad Gani Lone today said that the youth have the potential to bring meaningful change in the society.
According to a press release, he was addressing a party function. “Today, the youth of Jammu and Kashmir have signified their dedication to fostering significant socio-political transformation in our society. They are rising against developmental stagnation and indifference experienced in the past, as demonstrated by these two vibrant individuals who with great zeal joined our party-fold,”Lone stated.
Socio-political activists, Faiz Dijoo and Muneeb Quraishi, hailing from diverse political ideologies, received a warm as they joined the Peoples Conference in the esteemed presence of its President, the press release said.
The joining ceremony was attended by the party’s Provincial President for Kashmir, Mohammad Khurshid Alam, Spokesperson Adnan Ashraf Mir, Sajad Alam, Youth President Mudasir Karim, Azad Parvaz, District Youth President Mansoor Banday, Tasaduq Yaseen, Bismah Meer among others.
In his address to the new members, PC President praised their decision, emphasising the potential of youth to catalyse meaningful societal change with their resilience, determination and status as society’s most valuable asset.
Lone also encouraged the newly joined members to carry forward the flambeau of hope ignited by the Peoples Conference among the people. .
