The Pakistan-adminstered Kashmir Prime Minister Chaudhry Abdul Majeed has said that overseas Kashmiris are playing a pivotal role in highlighting the plight of Kashmiris at international fora.
According to Radio Pakistan, Majeed told a delegation of overseas Kashmiris in Islamabad on Tuesday thatoverseas Kashmiris are our ambassadors in the world who are effectively raising voice for their brethren struggling to achieve their inalienable right, right to self-determination.
"He said India could not suppress the freedom movement in Occupied Kashmir and Kashmiris would see the dawn of freedom of their motherland from Indian clutches soon," the report said.
Chaudhry Abdul Majeed said overseas Kashmiris are significantly contributing in the socioeconomic uplift of their motherland through their remittances, it said.
Referring to the development of the state, he said that government is taking tangible measures to develop the state on modern lines, it said.
