Jammu, Jan 2: S.J.M Gillani Addl. Director General of Police, Armed J&K today issued promotion orders of 1 Assistant Sub Inspector to the rank of Sub Inspector, 88 Head-Constables to the rank of Assistant Sub-inspectors, 107 Sg Constables to the rank of Head-Constables and 120 Constables to the rank of SgConstables in Armed Police.
The promotion orders of the Armed Police personnel were issued today after the DPC headed by ADGP Armed J&K as its chairman assessed the cases of eligible ASI, HCs, Sg Cts and Constables and found them fit for promotion to their next ranks in light of the relevant promotion norms of the J&K Police.
