Anantnag, Apr 26: SSP Anantnag Dr. G. V. Sundeep Chakravarthy along with DIG CRPF Anantnag K. S. Deswal visited various camping locations in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday to take stock of arrangements for the upcoming Lok Sabha election-2024.
They were accompanied by Nodal Officer CAPF and CO of 40 Bn CRPF Ram Phool Meena, SP Hqrs Anantnag Sajad Ahmad, DySP DAR Anantnag Rouf Ahmad and SDPO Bijbehara Owais Loun and other officers.
An official spokesperson in a statement said that during the visit, the elaborate arrangements and security review of all locations were discussed while SSP Anantnag and DIG CRPF also inspected availability of convenient places and facilities for officers and jawans.
“The concerned officers briefed SSP Anantnag in detail about security arrangements to be put in place to conduct upcoming Lok Sabha Elections-2024 smoothly”, said the statement.
According to the statement, SSP Anantnag and DIG CRPF directed all the officers to maintain the highest level of alertness and ensure proper access control and all necessary facilities at all camping locations across the district.
