With two points each in their respective accounts, Sanjeev Kumar of Survey of India (SOI), Vijay Singh of Intelligence Bureau (IB), RK Sharma of National Sample Survey Organisation (NSSO) and Vishal Gupta of Central Excise today emerged leaders at the end of round two of the two-day chess tournament, organised by the Centre Government Employees Welfare Coordination Committee (CGEWCC).
The remaining two rounds of the four-round competition as also the team event shall take place at the same venue, Indian Institute of Integrative Medicines (IIIM), here tomorrow.
Earlier, the event was declared open by chairman of the sports coordination committee, BS Bhan in the presence of other members, Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, Mahesh Sharma, Rajinder Gupta and Ashok Chadha.
